  • Karma Yoga (Leduc)

    Nurtured Minds Wellness is offering monthly Karma classes on the last Sunday of each month at 6.30pm. Each month the proceeds are donated to a different local community organization.

    Classes are held the the Lighthouse Cowork space at 4810 5oth Ave in Leduc. Bolsters, blankets and blocks provided; please bring your own mat.

    Karma classes are a gentle restorative yoga with and even gentler flow, the perfect way to wind down a weekend.

  • Trauma Informed Yoga Series (Leduc and NMW Retreat)

    The Trauma Informed Yoga series aims to increase self-acceptance and self-compassion.

    Trauma-Informed Yoga provides a safe container for people to heal through movement and artistic expression. This series provides people with noticeable mental and physical benefits that will be seen throughout their practice.

    Each class will begin with a psycho-education and activity component, and then move into a physical yoga practice that is accessible for all bodies and experience levels.

  • Yoga Flow and Pilates (Calmar)

    Yoga and Pilates classes are held weekly on Sunday and Tuesday nights at the Calmar Program Centre. Classes are $15 for drop in. $52 for a 4 class pass and $96 for an 8 class pass per month. Classes are bookable online, please contact us directly to purchase multi class pass.

    Pilates in a mind-body exercise with a focus on building strength and stability through the core to improve posture and decrease pain in the back. Movements are mostly all done laying down on stomach, back or side.

    Yoga Flow is a class dedicated to connecting movement with breath. This class is an all levels class with modification or challenges for all practitioner levels. In this class we focus on cultivating strength, flexibility, balance and stability in seating, laying and standing postures.

  • Youth Yoga (Calmar)

    Youth Yoga is a 45 minute class for 8-12 year olds (13+ are welcome in our adult classes as long as you connect with us first).

    In this class we focus on learning basic yoga poses, movements with breath and mindfulness practices. It’s a great way to introduce our young people to prioritizing their physical and mental wellness while connecting with other youth from the community.

    These classes are held at 6pm on Tuesdays at the Calmar Program Centre.

    We hope to make these classes as accessible as possible so it will only cost $5 to attend. Please register online via our booking link.
