Owner and Registered Psychotherapist, Charlie Webb, is a diversely experienced therapist who has both a BA (Hons) Psychology and a Masters of Counselling Psychology. Charlie is currently registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) while awaiting completion of transfer into Association of Counselling Therapy of Alberta (ACTA).
With over 15 years of experience, Charlie began her career working in prisons in the UK, providing therapeutic care to long term offenders. After arriving in Canada, Charlie was then employed by both The Elizabeth Fry Society and the Canadian Mental Health Association, working in halfway houses, psychiatric hospitals and other residential programs providing crisis support, life skills development and counselling to individuals and their families.
In 2018 after working for 12 years in frontline mental health care within a highly reactive system, Charlie recognized the need to provide our communities with proactive mental health support. Charlie worked as a Mental Health Therapist on the Barrie and Community Family Health Team in Ontario before moving to
Alberta in 2020.
Charlie also has an extensive history in volunteerism, from advocacy and fundraising to organized committees including 6 years with the Ontario Youth Justice Committee and also as Mental Health Lead for the Orillia Community Access Network (OCAN).
Now as a busy Mum of 2 boys, with a love of nature and self-care, Charlie has created Nurtured Minds Wellness and Therapy Services in order to continue doing the work she loves while being present with family and life.
